DELF Junior and DELF Prim at Alliance Française Chiang Mai
The DELF Junior and DELF Prim are official French language diplomas, specially designed for young learners. They provide an excellent opportunity to validate and recognize the language skills of children and teenagers in an international context.
DELF Junior
The DELF Junior is intended for adolescents aged 12 to 17. It is tailored to their age and environment, taking into account their interests and needs. This diploma certifies the ability to communicate in French in everyday situations. It is available at four levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
DELF Junior: A1, A2, B1, B2
This certificate is a great opportunity for young people to measure their French proficiency, prepare for future studies, or enhance their CV for future academic or professional opportunities.
The Alliance Française of Chiang Mai offers specialized courses to help young learners prepare for the DELF Junior and DELF Prim exams. DELF Prim
The DELF Prim is designed for children aged 7 to 12. Created to be fun and motivating, this exam evaluates the language skills of younger learners in familiar situations suited to their age. DELF Prim allows children to validate their French level through enjoyable and interactive tasks. It is available at two levels:
DELF Prim: A1.1, A1, A2
DELF Prim provides a positive first experience for children, encouraging them to continue their French learning and feel confident in their language abilities.

DELF Junior & DELF Prim Exams 2025 - Fees

Will be considered internal candidates:
– ongoing students of any AF in Thailand (must be following a course prior to the exam session);
– all students registered at the French department at CMU;
– -50% discount for any French teachers
Proof of registration (AF / CMU) must be presented at the time of registration.
